Joe Receives Endorsement of the Lake County Farm Bureau
For release September 23, 2026 - Joe Salvi was honored to have earned the endorsement of the Lake County Farm Bureau in his campaign for Lake County Board District 17.
Agriculture is an important part of Lake County’s history, economy, and future. This is especially true in western Lake County in District 17, with its overall large lot sizes and rural character. Protecting our agricultural community means more than just preserving open space. It means making sure farmers can afford to keep farming.
On the County Board, Joe will stand with our farmers by fighting to:
Protect farmland from unnecessary government acquisition and development pressure.
Keep property taxes, fees, and other government costs under control so that farmers can continue to afford to operate their land.
Oppose unnecessary regulations and red tape that make it harder and more expensive to farm.
Protect our water resources. I will oppose putting large-scale developments like data centers on unincorporated land when they could compete with farmers and residents for critical water resources.
